Ecclesiastes 7: 12 Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it. 19 Wisdom makes one wise person more powerful than ten rulers in a city.

When God is first, then we seek Him in everything.  God has this all-knowing wisdom that can help us choose the best in every situation.  He can tell you what school to go to, which way will be the safest route home, how to grow your hair, what to eat, wear or say.  Godly wisdom protects you from danger, pushes you into excellence, flourishes your health and your relationships.

But, we also have to recognize that godly wisdom does not always make human-sense.  (Example: God may tell you not to take that high paying job because He knows that in the near future that company would decide they no longer need your services.)  So, we pursue and heed godly wisdom on faith.  We listen to God and allow Him to prosper our health, relationships, finances, and every part of our lives.
