Romans 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Salvation is obtained by faith. We first must believe in our hearts, then we speak. If salvation is obtained by faith, can’t we obtain our needs and desires by faith as well?
The answer is…YES!
Everything we need or want that pertains to life and Godliness is promised in the word of God. Once we locate the promise in God’s word, we should believe, then speak. That’s why confession is so important. We are speaking the truth about a situation even if the facts don’t line up with our confession yet.
We are delivered from all unholy and unhealthy addictions.
We are healed of all sickness and disease.
We are protected and covered by the blood of Jesus.
We are free from all judgment and criticism towards others.
Even if we still are battling addictions or suffering from sickness symptoms, believe and speak the truth which is God’s word. Believe then speak. God’s word (The Truth) outweighs any natural fact we experience. Walk by faith and not by sight!
