Luke 8: 14The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop. 18Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him.”
Hearing the Word of God produces faith, but persevering and continually standing in faith separates those that yield a bountiful harvest and those whose growth is stunted. And if we do not take heed and listen to grow our faith, we may lose what we had. So, faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17), but is developed through perseverance (James 1:3, 4). So, keep standing on the Word, breakthrough is here!
