Scripture of the Day: There Is Profit
Proverbs 14:23 All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.

There are difficult sacrifices we make for the Kingdom of God but know, there is profit in our labor.
At times, it’s difficult to get up out of a comfortable bed to go to church on Sunday morning but, there is profit in our hard work. We may desire to go have drinks with our associates at a club instead of sitting inside the house getting drunk in the Spirit but, there is profit in our hard work. We may want to be involved in one night stands due to our burning fleshly desires instead of abstaining from sexual relations until we’re married but, there is profit in our hard work. All the reading, praying, believing, and declaring will profit us in our lives.

It’s difficult to walk righteously and be obedient but, when we make that commitment to obey God in spite of our surroundings, God is pleased. When God is pleased, we are rewarded.

Continue to walk in the ways of God and know your labor is not in vain. Behind our labor, there is profit.
