One of the hardest things to do is to love the ones who hurt us. The natural instinct of a human is to dislike and remove one’s self from pain and go towards pleasure.
God requires that we go beyond our natural instinct by loving and forgiving the ones who hurt us.
What God requires takes more than human effort. This requires supernatural help from above. God is not asking us to love and forgive our enemies with our strength alone. Just like everything else, God is there to help and guide us along the way. If God can love and forgive us, who are we to say we can’t do the same for others?
Next level living requires, next level loving.
Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
