Philippians 2:13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
When we are standing in faith for a promise of God, we’re very mindful about what we do or say because we don’t want anything to affect our promise coming to pass. We pray and read more, consult God before an action, give more, and fast. We do all of this to please God in the hopes that our promise is not delayed.
However, once our promise comes to pass, it seems like we can afford to make a mistake. We have what we want from God so, there is no need to please. We shouldn’t do God like that. The reason God provided the blessing in the first place was so that we honor God with our life even more.
We should strive to continue pleasing God no matter what season we’re in.
