Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

When life beats us up too bad, it seems difficult to trust, believe, and rely on God. We create reason behind why God is allowing us to go through these storms. Most of the reasons we create do not make logical sense. So, eventually some of us conclude that God can’t or won’t handle these problems and we have to handle these problems ourselves. This conclusion has people not trusting God totally; it has people making decisions without consulting God, and it has people trying to do it all on their own without God’s help. This is not the will of God for our lives.

Although we may be going through tough storms, God is still with us. During these storms God desires us to run to Him not run from Him. Like a child runs to their mother, God desires His children to find safety in His arms. Never stop trusting God; always depend on Him.
