Psalm 136:23 Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:
God has an unbelievable amount of patience. In regards to God’s patience, there are two types of people He is dealing with. The first type is “The Blatant” and the second type is the “The Fallen”
1. The Blatant- “The Blatant” is the person who knowingly sins. They knew what they were doing was wrong however, they did it anyway.
2. The Fallen- “The Fallen” is the person who attempts to do what’s right but, continues to make mistakes and sins.
No matter what type of person you are, God still has patience with us.
A form of patience is mercy. Mercy, in God’s eyes, is where we deserve every punishment known to man but, daily, God gives us chance after chance to get it right. To receive this mercy, we have to become children of God by making Jesus Christ Lord and Savior (1 John 5:1). An unbeliever who sins is considered wicked in the eyes of God and nothing else. (I encourage you to make Jesus Lord today.)
This message will not apply to everyone however, if you are “The Blatant” or “The Fallen” don’t get frustrated or give up on pleasing God. Continue to make the adjustments you need to make, and realize God’s patience, or mercy, endures forever.
Be Blessed
