1 John 2:6 Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus

The Bible says we ought to live our lives the way Jesus did. Jesus didn’t curse; Jesus didn’t smoke; Jesus didn’t drink; and Jesus always walked in love. People may say Jesus could live that way because He was the Son of God. Well, God’s Word wouldn’t tell us to do something if we were incapable of doing it. Jesus also said in John 14:12 if we have faith in Him (Jesus) we can do greater works than Jesus; which includes walking in obedience. God desires holiness from His children and holiness starts with obedience (1 Peter 1:16).

Be obedient and walk as Jesus did.
