When we first get born again, our faith is at the baby phase. We simply believe with our heart and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord. But, how many know God wants more from us? God wants us to continue to grow in faith. He sent His Son to reclaim everything that was stolen in order for us to believe and receive His finished work. Yes, a small amount of faith will move mountains but, great faith moves God Who created the mountain. Jesus was emotionally moved when great faith presented itself in Matthew 8:10.
Allow your faith to be perfected by placing your faith (trust, hope, reliance, and confidence) in God and His Word.
