Psalm 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Let’s magnify the last statement in this verse….my cup overflows.
Most Christians want to live a life of so called humility. They want to have just enough in their cup but, not too much as if the poorer we are, the closer we get to God. The more liberal Christians want to have at least a full cup. They want the manifestation of their dreams and desires but, at the end of the day their’s a limit.
Honestly, according to this scripture, God wants more for His people. God desires our cup to overflow. We should have so much in our cup until we have enough to lend to the nations (Deuteronomy 28:12). I’m not ONLY speaking of money. We should have an overflow of love to give, an overflow of wisdom to give, an overflow of service to give, etc. How else do we expect to be a blessing according Genesis 12:2 without surplus?
Let’s elevate our thinking to the level of overflow because that’s what God desires for His people.
Real Blessed!
