Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
God has a promise of peace. Not just ordinary peace but, peace that passes all understanding. This means when we face difficult situations, and others don’t understand why we’re calm in this situation, we can say it’s our promise of peace. Crying, screaming, and worrying doesn’t make the situation go away. What we need to do is, rely on God’s peace.
So, for the people who have faced or about to face a natural disaster in Hurricane Isaac, declare God’s peace in the middle of that situation.
Peace
