John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
Have you ever realized worship is literally the only thing we can give God?
Some people may say they give their money to God. Well, according to Luke 6:38 when we give it, it will be given back to us. So…giving is for our benefit. Some may say they give their time to God. Well, according to Galatians 6:7 we reap what we sow. So… giving our time is for our benefit. Some may say they gave their life to God. According to Romans 10:9 when we give our life to God, we receive salvation. So…giving our life is for our benefit.
Worship is the only thing we can give God without a return attached to it. Worship is not a time to be entertained or a time to daydream. Worship is a response to the goodness of God. Worship is a time we show our appreciation to a holy, loving, giving God Who cares for us dearly.
We should intensify our worship because it is the only thing we can give God.
