As we start this 2013 year, a lot of people will make the effort to workout, lose weight, go to church, and develop their spiritual relationship with God. This is great but, as we know most of us start “falling off” our quest towards the middle of the year. Praise God our blessings are not determined by our spiritual commitment because most of us would stop experiencing blessings towards the middle of the year.
God desires for us to increase. Increase in our faith, increase in our relationship with Him, increase in knowledge of Him through His Word.
For this 2013 year, we should make a conscious effort to spiritually increase without turning back. Not so that we can get “stuff” but, so that we can know and increase our relationship with our Heavenly Father.
Romans 1:17 For in it is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
