Our purpose is to reflect and embody Christ in such a way that it draws others to want to know Him more. If we go around persecuting others for their shortcomings and flaws, they will be turned off from Christ instead of turned on to Christ. That does not mean that we participate in their sin, but that we embody God and God is love.
Ephesians 5: 1Be you therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling fragrance.
