“Only believe” implies that we can have belief and unbelief simultaneously.

Fasting gets me to dispel my unbelief and hear from God, not to get God to move. Fasting disciplines the body forcing it to submit to the Spirit, receive and act on the Word of God and not succumb to sin.

Matthew 26: 41Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
