John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Have you ever been in church and someone you may or may not know gives you an expression as if you don’t belong? What about someone telling you, “You should be ashamed of yourself” after you know you did something wrong? This is known as condemnation.

Condemnation is usually in the church world. It’s designed to make people feel guilty or bad for what they have done.  When people do or say these things, they are hoping that these remarks will make a person feel so bad until they won’t want to sin again. The only problem with condemnation is it goes against everything that Jesus came and died for.

Condemnation does the opposite of what people think. Condemnation will eventually have people doubting God’s love for them. At the end of that road people will doubt their existence or purpose on the earth.

Continue to pray for others and show the love of God in spite of their behavior. This is the way Jesus would operate. Jesus did not condemn people, why should we?
