James 2:8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right.
If a random stranger approached us and gave us a million dollars, a new car, and a house to match with no strings attached, any reasonable person would be excited. We would never look at that stranger the same. We would be extra kind, courteous, and loving to the stranger. We may look for opportunities to pay them back. And that stranger may eventually become a friend.
God has called for His people to treat every person with love, kindness, and respect. We are to treat every person as if they have done something nice for us. We are to love others in spite of how they treat us and do good to those who hate us.
People of God, let’s love our fellow man.
