Matthew 21:19 Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.

When Jesus spoke to the fig tree, the fig tree withered away. We also have this same authority through Jesus Christ to cause things to wither away. We can speak to lack and cause it to wither away. We can speak to cancer and cause it to wither away. We can speak to the disobedience in children and cause it to wither away.

Once again, Jesus has shown us what to do with our speech. Use it, and make something wither away.
