Psalm 62:7 My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.

In today’s world, people have been highly conditioned to be independent. Dependency is almost frowned upon. People want to make sure everyone knows they can accomplish their goals without the aid of anyone else.

However, God’s ways are different. God desires us to be totally dependent on Him. He never intended for us to live this life without Him. This forces us to change our thinking. The Creator of the universe, Who knows everything, is requesting us to depend on Him. When we realize Who God is and whose side He is on, it makes it easier to depend, trust, and rely on Him.
