Daniel 6:10 Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.

Like Daniel, choose to give thanks, pray, and carry on even when circumstances look bleak. Most of us will never be in a literal lion’s den, but in the midst of the figurative ones, continue to trust that God has already planned your victorious outcome.

Daniel 3: 17If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. 23And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the middle of the burning fiery furnace. 25He answered and said, See, I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
