Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.
The way to determine if our desires are God’s desires for us is to pray. Prayer provides us with communication with God to ensure that what we desire is what we really want and not a product of our environment, circumstances, or comparison to others. In addition to allowing God to grant us peace and speak to us regarding God-given desires, we also refer to His Word. God will not give us a desire that contradicts His Word. For the fullness of God’s desires for us, peruse the Word. God wants us to enjoy life, have more than enough, be well rested, to enjoy work with no toil, and so much more. We should desire and align our faith for what God has for us.
Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
