Hebrews 13:5 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise–the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

It’s called a sacrifice of praise for a reason. We may not feel like it or our life may not seem praiseworthy from all the turmoil we may be facing but, praise is what God expects.

As we give God our best praise, things begin to shift. First, spiritual maturity begins to develop based on the fact we’re allowing our spirit to be in control instead of our flesh. Secondly, our faith is growing based on the fact we’re not allowing our current situation to dictate our praise and expectation. Finally, praise is contagious. As we praise, it encourages the next man or woman to do the same in spite of how they feel and in spite of what they are going through.

Offer the sacrifice of praise for spiritual maturity, development of faith, and to encourage one another.

Praise Him!
