Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.
There comes a point in time where everyone needs to change for the better. This change should be grounded in two areas. The first area of change should be grounded in grace. God’s grace and mercy have been so prevalent in our lives until we should want to change. God blessed us with numerous amounts of things we didn’t deserve including salvation. With this type of grace that’s offered to us on a daily basis, why wouldn’t we want to change for the better to please an ever-loving God?
The second area of change should be grounded in holiness. God has called us to be holy (1 Peter 1:16). We will be required to change some areas in our life to fulfill the requirement of holiness. Once again, if holiness is required to please our ever-loving God, we should desire to change for the better.
Never forget that this life is not about us. This life is about glorifying God. As we change for the better, we better represent the Kingdom of God.
