Exodus 3:11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”
Exodus 4:1 Moses answered, “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you’?”
Exodus 4:10 Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
Here we see Moses coming up with numerous excuses for why he couldn’t do what God told him to do. How many times have we done the same thing? Before we come up with excuses for why we can’t do something, we should consider that God, Who knows all, already has a solution to eliminate our excuses. If He told us to do something, He’s made everything available. We may not see how it’s going to happen but, God has already paved the way.
Let’s eliminate excuses and do what God told us to do.
