We as a body of believers have been giving the devil too much credit. Some may say the devil made them do a certain thing or the devil was busy doing this or that. The truth is the devil is defeated. When Jesus rose from the grave over 2000 years ago, the devil was stripped of all his powers. The devil has nothing to fight with. For the believer, he can’t hurt or harm us or our family. He can’t touch our finances, our property, or any part of our lives.

The only power Satan has is the power we allow him to have. We give Satan power when we open our mouths to speak death over a certain area of our lives (Proverbs 18:21), and when we continually practice sin. Word to remember: The consequences of sin, allows the devil in.
