Mark 7:20 He (Jesus) went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them.
What’s coming out of you? Evaluate yourself.
Are you the person who complains about the task that is set before them at their job or do you work unto the Lord without grumbling or complaining?
Are you the man recalling your past bragging about how many women you slept with or are you forgetting those things that are behind you and embracing your new creation?
Are you the woman attempting to start drama and strife or are you the woman who removes gossip, discontentment, and self-pity from your mouth?
Are you the person speaking death and negativity into situations or are you speaking life into every situation?
Are you condemning others who may not be on the same level as yourself or are you praying for people’s deliverance and understanding?
If there is anything negative coming out of our mouths, we’re negatively defiling ourselves. Let’s renew our minds to speak, think, and act in a God-honoring way.
