1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:19 We love because he first loved us.
Romans 5:8 But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
God loves us in spite of what we do. He doesn’t loves us when we’re doing right and take away His love when we’ve done wrong. He loves us in our good times and in our bad times.
When we internalize God’s love for us, we can eliminate depression, low self esteem, and doubt. We’re not depressed because of the situations surrounding us because we know God, Who loves us, can change any situation and provide the strength we need to get through any situation. Low self esteem won’t have a chance to dwell in our lives because we know God, Who loves us, perfectly made us and we don’t need the approval of anyone else. Doubt in God’s ability would vanish. Since God loved us enough to sacrifice His Son, how much more would He freely give us all things (Rom 8:32)? No good thing will He withhold to those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11).
Receive His love and never let it go.
