Proverbs 11:24 One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. 25 A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
For those who feel like it’s a tough economy and you have to hold on to everything you have, you are hindering your prosperity. God doesn’t always require us to give our last dollar but, when we’re led by the Holy Spirit to give, we have a promise of prosperity attached.
This promise is not limited to the church This promise is also activated when we obey the Holy Spirit’s prompting to pay for someone’s meal or pay for someone’s gas. Anytime we are compelled to give, this promise is activated. However, if we keep an attitude of selfishness, we will never experience God’s best.
It’s your choice.
