2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

God is all-wise and all-knowing. It’s funny to think that thoughts and ideas attempt to compete with or outdo the knowledge of God. These thoughts and ideas come directly from Satan. Unfortunately, some of society has been deceived and received these ideas as the new norm. Meanwhile, God’s knowledge is being belittled and pushed to the side.

The knowledge of God is found in the Word of God. Whatever the Word of God says, we do it. We don’t adjust, taper, or totally remove certain things in the Word of God to make it fit our personal desires. Anything that goes against the Word of God needs to be removed from our thought life and our behavior.

Adjust to the Word of God and allow the Word of God to dictate and govern our lives.

Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered. (Psalms 40:5 NKJV)

This verse is pretty self explanatory. The magnitude of God’s thoughts and love towards us cannot be counted. Our finite mind cannot comprehend the level of God’s love towards us. There is nothing God wouldn’t do for us. God gave us His only begotten Son (John 3:16) and God literally gave us the world (Romans 4:13).

If ever we should doubt in our minds regarding the love, care, and affection God has for us, we need to cast out that thought and reread this scripture.
