Day 1: We wake up and give a quick thank you Lord. We go to work. During our breaks at work, we play games, socialize with our coworkers, or talk on the phone. We leave work and go to the gym. We come home, eat and spend time with our family. We unwind by watching TV or getting on the internet. Finally, we may say a quick prayer and prepare for bed. Day 2: We do the same thing. Day 3: We do the same thing.

We fill up our life with so many things, meanwhile, we’re not taking the time to commune with God. We’re not entering His presence or spending time in His Word. Our responsibility is to eliminate the distractions and prioritize God. Even if we have to wake up earlier or go to bed later, let’s prioritize God.

This message is not to condemn anyone. God will love us just the same if we don’t seek His presence for the rest our life. However, spending time in His presence is an opportunity to socialize with the Creator, know the plans He has for us, and better the quality of our life.

1 Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His presence continually!
