Proverbs 10:27 The fear of the LORD prolongs days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

Fearing the Lord, which means respecting and honoring the Lord, can go a long way. Our reverence towards God not only pleases God but, it adds days to this abundant life we received through Jesus Christ. This means, death no longer dictates our earthly departure. Our faith, honor, and reverence determines the day of our death. Praise God that as we honor God, He honors us by extending our days.
