Romans 11:16 For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches.
“God gave His first fruit seed, Jesus, so that He could win me as a return for that seed. So, when I imitate Him by giving my first fruit offering, I’m guaranteed a desired, abundant return” (Pastor Derrick Golden).
We’re not under a law to give ten percent. In fact, if we follow the non-law examples placed before us, our offering would be substantially greater (John 3:16, Hebrews 7:1). But, regardless, the principle remains the same, when we trust God with our resources, we allow Him to provide creatively and abundantly (Ephesians 3:20). He will extend what we have, and He will cause men to give to us (Luke 6:38). So, it’s time to go deeper with God, and allow Him to bless our resources!
2 Corinthians 9: 6But this I say, He who sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 8And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work
