Psalm 119:10 With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!
Matthew 6:33 But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Are we seeking God and an authentic relationship with Him, or are we just after His voice concerning things revolving around us? Along with knowing God comes hearing His voice. But, when we become selfish in our seeking, being focused on ourselves rather than on Him, we position ourselves for frustration and stagnant periods of time. So, seek to know God, to commune with Him first, then through the close bond formed, He can communicate about that which concerns us.
Psalm 9:10 And they that know your name will put their trust in you: for you, LORD, have not forsaken them that seek you.
