Genesis 2:15 And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it.
Men: God gave man the Garden of Eden. The very first instructions God gave to man were to tend, guard, and keep the Garden of Eden. These instructions are based off a principle which means, it will work with anything we possess, including our wives. Men, with this information, we can conclude that God desires for us to be attentive to our wives, guard our wives, and keep our wives. This is our God-given purpose.
Have you ever asked yourself, where was Adam when Eve was being led astray by the serpent? By not following the instructions from God, our wives can be led astray after hearing untrue information, left unprotected, and unkempt because they were not kept (Genesis 3:1-4).
Husbands, in order for us to make hell mad with successful marriages, we have to do our part and be the obedient Spirit-led man of the house.
