John 20:17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”

Notice how Jesus makes the distinction that He will be ascending to both His God and His Father. When we become born again, we have to see God as more than the Creator and Ruler of the universe. We have to see God as our Father.

By labeling God as our Father, we establish a more intimate relationship with Him. We let ourselves know how committed He is to us. We solidify His love for us. We are encouraged daily and confident always because we know Who our Father is.

Our Father will never leave us or force us out as we mature. Our Father will always be our Provider, our Protector, and our Advisor for eternity.

Establish a relationship with God and make Him your Father today.
