How many people do you know who specifically pray for their boss or for those in authority at their employment? Not too many. There are a lot of people willing to complain, criticize, or speak negatively towards those in authority but, they don’t pray for change.
We can’t go around the workplace complaining about the administration and expect change. Complaints don’t create change. Prayer causes change. We need to get in the habit of praying for those in authority. If we don’t like something, we need to pray that those in authority receive and operate in the wisdom of God and make Spirit-led decisions.
Bless those who are in authority and expect a positive change for your good.
1 Timothy 2:1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
