John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

A component of living here on earth is that problems, challenges, and difficulties arise. But, as we face those various trials, we can keep our peace and maintain our joy, because as believers we have a guarantee of victory.

I John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
