Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
If we look in today’s society, the majority of people are chasing money. Once they obtain money, they irresponsibly spend it on cars, clothes, and questionable things.
There is nothing wrong with having money and nice things but, God advises us to set our mind on higher things. If our ultimate goal is to only be rich, our mind is set on things that are beneath God’s standards.
What are those higher things? Those higher things are to establish and develop a personal relationship with God. Once that relationship is developed, we should consult God on His plan for our lives. Once that plan is revealed, we should fearlessly walk out our purpose. Along the way of fulfilling our purpose, we should encourage others to establish and develop a relationship with God.
Remember, those higher things revolve around the Kingdom of God. Set your mind on those higher things and make an impact today.
