Technology has advanced a great deal over the years. We have games, apps, phones, social media, and over 300 channels on TV. With all of the technology we have, the things of God have not changed. It’s still important for us to separate ourselves from technology, take time out to read the Word of God, spend time in the presence of God, and receive instructions from God.
God desires for us to have the good life but, if technology has clouded our communication with God, it makes it more difficult for us to receive His best. Technology is not the enemy but, technology can be used by the enemy to interfere with God’s plan for our lives.
Let’s momentarily separate ourselves from technology, minimize the distractions, and hear what God has to say.
1 Corinthians 7:35 I am saying this for your benefit, not to place restrictions on you. I want you to do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as possible.
