As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ into this world, we should also celebrate His accomplishments. Jesus suffered and endured unimaginable pains while taking our place at Calvary.
The following verses in Psalms 22 gives us a glimpse of what Jesus endured:
-I am poured out like water, And all My bones are out of joint; My heart is like wax; It has melted within Me. (Psalms 22:14)
-My strength is dried up like a potsherd, And My tongue clings to My jaws; You have brought Me to the dust of death. (Psalms 22:15)
-I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me. (Psalms 22:17)
As we can see Jesus was ridiculed, tortured, and in great pain. God sent His Son Jesus into the earth to endure these sufferings and accomplish this goal just for us. Praise God for Jesus Who was not only born but, endured great suffering so that we can become the righteousness of God.
