Psalms 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

If we would allow God to lead, guide, and direct our lives, we would realize that God has prepared everything we will ever need for this life. It’s not going to be prepared, it’s already prepared.

Many times, people want to prepare a table for themselves. They want to pick the college they want to go to because of its notoriety instead of going to the college God has prepared for them. They want to work at a certain job because of the high salary instead of having a career God has prepared for them. They want to be in a relationship with someone because of how it makes them look instead of being with the person God has prepared for them. We want to prepare a table for ourselves, but have God bless it. It doesn’t work that way.

The things that God has prepared for us are attached to our purpose. When we receive what God has prepared, we walk in our purpose and when we’re walking in our purpose, God is pleased. Stop working so hard to prepare something that’s already prepared. Rest and Receive what God has prepared and eat well.
