Genesis 2:15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.

A lot of people seem to be disgusted with the concept of work. During the weekday, especially on Monday, people begin to complain and become negative because they have to work. Work is not a bad thing. As we can see, one of the first things God called man to do was to work. And God is not in the habit of giving us something to make our lives miserable.

What makes work difficult at times is when we’re working outside of our purpose. We have people purposed to be teachers in banking. We have people in banking purposed to be in nursing. We have people in nursing purposed to be in business.

If we would seek God regarding our purpose, this life would be more enjoyable. I’m not saying we won’t get tired or need a vacation, but when we’re walking in our purpose, our purpose will motivate us to do our job with excellence, do our job with a positive attitude, and do our job for the glory of God.
