Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” 

Regardless of what we’re experiencing right now, God loves us. It may not seem like He’s there or on our side but, He is. People may want to complain about God not being there for them in their situation(s) but, the fact they still have breath in their bodies to complain should show them God is with them and He cares. 

Initially, we may not understand why we may be experiencing such difficulties but, as we continue to lean, trust, and rely on God, the “why” will be revealed to us. 
For those who were thinking about giving up on God, continue to hold on. For those who have given up on God, return to Him. As we return to Him, we can be at ease to know that God is not going to punish us for the time we were away and He’s not holding a grudge against us. He is standing there wanting everyone to experience is love, forgiveness, grace, and mercy.
