Psalms 8:2 Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
When we go through difficult times in our lives, the enemy is always standing by, whispering negative thoughts of doubt, unbelief, and disparity. He lets us know we won’t get through this situation, we’ve failed in that area, and we’ve missed our blessing.
When those negative thoughts arise, begin to praise God. We may not feel like praising God during trying times, but our praise is very beneficial.
- Our praise establishes a stronghold against the plans of the enemy. The traps that have been set by the enemy are dismantled when we praise.
- Our praise silences the enemy. Those negative thoughts that enter our minds are silenced as we praise.
So, give God praise. Let Him know how wonderful He is. Get excited about His promises for our lives and don’t allow the enemy to win.
