Mark 5: 25 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. 26 She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28 because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” 29 Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.

There are times in our lives where we have no other choice, but to trust God. We can either trust God or go insane, however, God doesn’t want to be the last resort. He wants us to trust Him from the start.

What if this woman would have trusted Jesus from the beginning? She would have been healed and she wouldn’t have had to spend all her money on doctors.

How much time, effort, and money would we save if we trusted God from the beginning? We can save our bodies the stress and worry about that sickness we were diagnosed with if we trust God that we’re healed. We can save money on “get rich quick” schemes and investments if we trust God to be our provider. We can have peace of mind about our health, without taking pills, vitamins, and herbal teas if we trust God.

Don’t waste time, money, and energy trying to figure life’s issues out on your own. Trust God from the beginning and live the abundant life.
