Psalms 119:68 “You are good, and do good; Teach me Your statutes.”

At some point in our lives, there should be this unction to want to do better, want to please God with our lives, or want to be a better Christian. Many of us start off well by attending church every Sunday, reading our Bible, and praying, however, there’s a time when our zeal leaves. This is the time when our tasks seem too difficult. Many of us quit during this time period or save our tasks for our New Year resolution.

Being a believer is not about completing so many tasks in a week. It’s about doing what God says. In order to do what God says on a daily basis, we have to initiate the quest to learn God’s ways. We have to be the ones going to God, asking Him to teach us His ways. Revelation and understanding is not going to download into our souls automatically. We have to desire to do His will.

It may seem difficult and our flesh won’t like the discipline, but learning the will of God and having the will of God being accomplished through us is exceptional in the eyes of God and improves the quality of our lives.
