There is a way to pray and get your prayers answered. Understanding how God wants us to petition Him and understanding all that He wants us to receive helps manifest our desires.
1.) Determine what you want and find scripture that supports it.
Everything pertaining to life and Godliness is covered in the Word. Read the Word to learn more about our awesome Father, and the way He intended for us to live life.

Children
Psalm 127:3 lo, children are a heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
Exodus 23:26 “There shall be no one miscarrying or barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.
 
Desires
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD; and he shall give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 21:2 You have granted him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips.
 
Favor
Psalm 5:12 For you, LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor will you surround him with a shield.

Health
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Joy
John 15:11 “These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

Needs

Wealth
Deuteronomy‬ ‭28‬:‭8 “The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you. 12 The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
Purpose
Jeremiah‬ ‭33‬:‭3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. 
Relationships

Victory
Romans 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
