Acts 15:9 He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith.

We, the believers, have been purified or cleansed by faith. Our belief in what Jesus accomplished on the cross has cleansed us. We’re not going to be purified, but we already are purified by faith.

There are some who think we have to work to be purified. Some say we have to fast 40 days, remove ourselves from all of our old friends before salvation, and only listen to or watch things involving God to be purified. This doesn’t purify us. The scripture is clear. Our faith, and our faith alone, purifies us.

Quit working to be purified. Receive purification through the finished works of Jesus.
