Psalm 37:1‭-‬2 MSG Don’t bother your head with braggarts or wish you could succeed like the wicked. In no time they’ll shrivel like grass clippings and wilt like cut flowers in the sun.

When you see unsaved individuals live in mansions, porn stars drive Bentleys, or cartel kingpins with stacks of cash, don’t get envious or frustrated. God’s word forewarned us that they will succeed.

Although it looks like they’re succeeding on the outside, it doesn’t mean they’re happy or at peace. These are the intangibles that money can’t buy.

Of course we would like to have some of the things the unrighteous have, but we shouldn’t obsess over them. If we want it, ask God in prayer and believe that you have received it (Mark 11:24). As we keep our faith in His word, in due time, we’ll have our heart’s desire.

In the waiting period, we must do what 2 Timothy 3:14 tells us. It says, you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you.
